Faux Turquoise

This is really a very simplified version of the original technique that I learned while in a technique group. I stamped the turtle on tempting turquoise paper with soft suede, then I cut out the shell leaving just a little of the head so I would be able to hold on to it with tweesers while using the heatgun. I then covered the shell with versa mark and then extra thick embossing powder, heated it then covered it again and repeated the process. then I took some early espresso craft ink and put a couple lines of the craft ink across the shell, covered with ETB heated it again allowing the ETB to move spreading the craft ink. Hope this helps.
Here's the card I designed for July for my technique group. Hope they like it! I used the Natures Nest located on page 122 $22.95
Here's a close up of the turquoise shell.
